I am brimming with the need to post

Seriously.
But, to get it ALL out requires more time than I have right now,
and I also need to think about something. A little more calmly and a little LESS rationally.
I got myself all screwed up last night, and missed my vision of the big picture. I don't get to ask those questions again - I'm NOT ready for the answer that is NOW. There's going to be an answer THEN, and the longer I just live it out, the more likely the answer will be one I want.

it's damn HARD in the meantime, And I mean that in EVERY way possible *evil grin**grumble*

Anyway, I've been bad, and I have a lot to say. I'm not going to Goffee tonight, I'm going to come home, via the Somerville Target. I know there's something there I wanted, of course I DON'T remember what. Then I'm going to come home, make a nice phat steak, and catch up on some things. Like LJ. I've had a couple of busy days, mostly good, just overwhelmingly busy. And actually, my weekend doesn't look any better, slack time wise.

CB bought me a veggie steamer. I was complaining to him Tuesday that I couldn't find one under $40 (I was looking in Targay and WalMart, I just wanted something simple, little did I know this is an "exotic" item, which needs a trip to Lechter's The big stores had them - complete with ten quart stockpot. I don't need that, but haven't had time to hit the mall.) So HE was out shopping (and buying the world's ugliest SUV. *GAGS* Edit - it doesn't come up right away - he got the orange one. *gags again*) and had the opportunity to stop in - and procured one for me.

*boggle*

In True Tia fashion, I said "Wow. Thanks - but I need a double boiler too." *evil grin* Seriously, I thought I'd be buying a whole set, something small, with steamer and double boiler, so I can make cheese sauces, and butter and garlic sauces (*DROOLS* Me want butter!) and it never occurred to me he'd just go out and do it.

It's one of the nicest things anyone has ever done. It's up there with Ashton's bootleg of Tank Girl for me. Just because I liked and wanted it. I'm so hard to do for, I do for myself too quick.

*blushes*

Anyway - I do need to get moving - I have a lot of work waiting for me. I can't wax poetic about a steamer all day. Ok I could. but I won't.

Speaking of retail therapy

I'm having a bad idea, but it's a good one.
Maybe. Help me out here, I want an opinion.

Buffy - Season 7 came out this week.
Now, this is one show I want access to. I want these boxed sets.
However, thanks to money restraints, I only have 3 (maybe 4, I thought I had 1, 2, 3, and 5, but now I'm not sure) out of 7 sets so far.
Now, there's another set coming out in December - the full series.

I could do the following:

1) Finish what I started, spend the potential $45-50 on each. Let's allot $150 for this.
OR
2) Sell the sets I have NOW, put away some other cash, and preorder the whole season. I don't have the amount in front of me, but DeepDiscountDVD's preorder price is something like $170. As opposed to $250.

I'M thinking that I could "make" money on this - I'd be spending the same money to finish the box sets. So that's money I'm going to spend. AND THEN - by selling my sets I'd get cash back against it.

I dunno - what do we think? I can confirm the presale price later - I remember thinking how silly cheap it was.
