THAT BASTARD has done it again.
I found a bedset that I liked, expensive as usual, and HE FOUND A BETTER ONE.
This one is dark purple, with patterns I can live with.
I still need to touch it tho, so I'm going to hop in the shower, make myself presentable, and head out to dig out my car and have a looky look.

Damn him.

*sighs*

So I did it.

I have purchased a comforter.
Noone get your titties in an uproar - I got the SOLID plum. it reverses to a light rose purple. Which I might do in the summer. The pattern was too loud. And, since I truly live by Karma, the only one available at my local Sears in the Full/Queen was the solid. I did get a goot look at the pattern, and it's not me.

Now I'm not sure if I like the sheets, although the pattern "plum Striate" looks pretty nice. I DO like the matching plum shams, which I can see in the piccies, but they don't appear to be at all available just now. Which is fine since I can barely afford the comforter. I decided to buy it as it was on sale, and I want to see it on my bed. And it's yummy on my bed. I couldn't get the matching bedskirt, but they also have a black pattern, which is available in a SOLID BLACK bedskirt. I'm thinking I'm getting that, so as to match the bed, and the rest of my room.

In addition I FINALLY found a cover for my body pillow. It's a slightly darker plum. I love my pillow but it's green, and it's older. I need some fluff to stuff into it, to firm it up some, but otherwise it's a good pillow. And now it's a lovely yummy 220+ count purple. We'll see how well it works tonight.

Once I'm sure I'm keeping the comforter, I need to take it to the laundromat and wash the stiffness out of it. But I want to make sure it's staying. It wasn't cheap, although it's not to the extent of the other set.

In addition to this, I saw a really cute deep purple with a darker purple pattern sheet set. Softer side of Sears for sure! Anyway, once I can afford it I'm going to get a couple of different items, so I can change with my whims. But I like the idea of matching everything, and I really want those shams now!

Ok, enough babbling, I need to make some dinner.

Sheets - revisited

I've been all bouncy around, and should go move my car.
One last thing.
Other than the white bedset this picture has everything I want, and the solid comforter I bought.
I'm still up in the air about the sheets, but this is the set I'm considering.

Now to move my car, and get to work on that closet. Considering an all nighter.

Why yes

Pulling out the boxes from the back of my closet has produced the box with the curtains for my bed in it. Along with all the sheer panels I knew I had, a swag, and the finials and hardware for the bed.

*boggle*
I should clean my closet more often!

Now, to get a few more boxes down from the top of the closet, and sort my clothes. I really want to put all my garb, except for my cloak, into a storage box. That way I know where it is if I want it for a Faire. the only things staying out are stuff I wear to the club.

I need more pants/skirt hangers. *meep*

I'm going to try and separate stuff into "I can wear now" "I can wear if I lose some weight" and "why did I buy this???" I guess we'll see what comes up with this.
And I have to get that Damn Coleco Adam out of my closet. Wish I could sell it. I need to get organized.
