Things I don't get

OK there's lots of things I don't get. I don't want to create DRA-MA, so I don't talk about it here. *grins*

This is what I don't get from last night:
I went out to New London to a DIVE to see Chris' band. I did not drive, and I've never been happier to leave early, or that D&N are early nighters. Managed to stay up to see InuYasha (which was REALLY good!) It had been cold all night, and it was comfortable in my room, so I left the fan off and the window shut.

At 5AM I woke up drenched in sweat. It was like an Oven in my room. I had to get up and open the window and turn the fan on. It took over an hour to go back to sleep.

At 5AM there isn't anyone doing laundry (I don't think, maybe they were) which is what might cause a heat rise like that. Now that I've moved the bed, I've noticed a lovely "hot spot" where the dryers are. There's another hot spot in teh Unit's room. The last time things were "repaired" last year they sealed off or improperly seals something, on the vents. We tink the dryers are venting INTO the building. Can we say FIRE?

I think Teh Unit (as the owner, I don't think they'll talk to me) needs to call and tell them about the hot spots on our floor and REMIND THEM AGAIN, about how, in the winter, the front windows fog up to the THIRD FLOOR with condensation from the dryers.

*sighs* This is why I go back and forth about staying here. The location and the familiarity are key, but the management company, and my neighbors just suck. I ALMOST want it to go up in flames, except for MY stuff of course *grins* so we can sue them. Teh Unit got a big envelope from the management company, I wonder what's in it.

Feh, I need to get moving. I'm going to call teh Unit and ask about the bathroom stuff. Then to WalMart to browse, then I need to load up stuff to take to the storage unit. It's the last day, I need to clean out her room and make sure her computer works.

Busy busy busy.

Oh. My. Good. Dog.!

Teh Unit Is Insane.

I called her to tell her about the mats. She said she was planning on going to WalMart she'd pick them up. I told her to also get a Swiffer WetJet as the mop sucked. She said "yeah, I guess I do want one of those....what do you mean the mop sucked? it's new!"

- It's not new
- She ACTUALLY asked me if I'd put it into water
- A bucket of water
- clean water?
- With soap?
- Did I change the water?
- How many times?
- Well what did YOU (meaning me) do wrong?

Um MAYBE THE BATHROOM WAS NASTY?????
(she did say the bathroom was a mess, and I should have been changing the water. (Which I did actually) but I KNOW if I'd changed it more often, she'd complain I used "too much cleaner." I'm waiting for her to ask me what I did with the dirty water. I'm going to tell her I dumped it in her bed.)

She then launches into how she's had my infant niece all night and she was up all night and she was tired. OH and remember how she said she was going to WalMart? she didn't mean today. AND the new stuff will be "shaped like daisies." I'm going to kill her, or at least vomit on the new bathroom stuff. But I have to go GET the nasty stuff I left on the balcony all night and put it BACK. *gags*

I don't dare get anything today tho. I don't want to hear about it later. Let's hope the spiders think the mats were too nasty to sleep in.

Oh and she says this mop, which I used the LAST time I cleaned the bathroom, which was a GOD'S age ago, is "brand new." Not bloody likely.

THIS is what she's like. At least NOW I can close my door and LIVE in my room. And I'm not cleaning the kitchen. Screw her.

OK, my weekly horoscope came through this morning.

I was confused by this:

BUT

The Fast Lane transponder I have has been low. I didn't have enough money on any of my credit cards until earlier this week. They had sent me a letter asking me to confirm my account, and I did, to my Mastercard.

TODAY I check everything, and it seems that they managed to charge my VISA (I have one of each, I keep them for various things, thanks to recent money foo-foos, they're close to maxed.) The Visa has also been hit with an over the limit fee. It NEVER should have been allowed, and I'm considering calling the credit card company tomorrow and telling them "Look, they weren't supposed to charge you, AND I don't have enough money on it TO charge that amount - it's not MY fault you two BOTH screwed up, how about dropping the over the limit fee?"

I mean I ASSUME if I don't have enough money on a card, they WON'T allow the charge! I'm thinking they allowed it JUST SO they could charge me the over the limit fee, and I'm VERY DISPLEASED!

I'm wigged out that my horoscope was right on. Maybe I'll wait until Tuesday to call, since it also says "Tuesday is a new moon and you can restart things."

But for now, I need to get stuff into my car for transport to the Unit.
