Interesting

There's no rhyme or reason to my sleeping. I went to bed night before last VERY late, sleeping around 3, and woke right up at 8. OK THEN went back to sleep, but I was making Podfee at around 9-ish. Perhaps it was the lure of the Pod, since today, I completely woke up about 9:20. Oh I do remember the first alarm going off, at 8:00 and the TV coming on loud at the same time. I don't remember the second alarm and the TV didn't keep me up. I got up, used the bathroom, and made Podfee. Sweet Sweet podfee. I had a cup about 11:30 last night, and I'm wondering if THAT'S what had me awake. Maybe I AM ODing on the caffeine. *grins*

State of the teeth - Healing quite well, there's very little pain now, and much less food stickage into open holes. There's still one or two twinges and sometimes, food hts JUST the right spot that I feel like it's pushing my last tooth around. I'm very pleased with how things are going. I'm also very pleased at the lack of pain, and general improvement to my lack of tooth pain life *grins* OK, it's not ALL cream and roses. Now that the major issues are gone, I'm noticing the smaller ones. I need cavities filled, and those will happen after I pay off the oral surgeon and D, and make a dent in what I owe J.

State of the face - also much improved. I went from itchy and red, to more red angry looking and stiff, and not too itchy. Apparently the hydrocortisone cream works, as it was THIS that had things up and running right. I think some more application today and see how it goes. I'm only supposed to use it three times a day, according to the directions. I also think I'm going to lug the big bottle of Vaseline for Dry Skin with me today. it does wonders. And it goes on non-greasy, and almost feels like water. OK maybe it's NOT supposed to feel that way *lol* but it works.

Anyway I need to shower and wash my face, and QUICKLY apply moisturizer after my shower. Or it'll HURT. I look much better than yesterday and feel better. I have to drive to the Cape and I replaced the CDs in my car, so I have a nice long relaxing drive ahead of me, and it SO WILL BE. I haven't decided if I'm going to sit in the mile long backup at the bridge, or if I'll take the Exit 2 route around. It depends on when I get out of here, and I'm going to try and make it quick. Plus I need to introduce my boss to Podfee.

I hope she's busy I like being busy and not feeling like I need to troll the 'Net all day. I can't believe how much happier I am just NOT going to the jerk client. Yay!

Tonight also begins the cleaning. M is coming over to help, although I should call it "help." I need to get stuff done, and I wonder if he knows I'm going to ask him to clean the bathroom *lol* hey it needs cleaning and he "wants to help." Fool. *giggle*

I did something to someone.
I just found a HUGE tear in one of my contacts. Thankfully before I put it in. That would have hurt like a bitch.
Course, these were the last pair of my "new" contacts and I need to see an eye doctor before I can get more. I have a contact in that supposedly "expired" in 2003, but it's far more fragile. They've changed the plastic they use and the newer ones are a lot more sturdy.

I SO cannot afford to see an eye doctor and buy contacts now. *sighs* This changes HOW I deal with things next week when I get a check, and I MIGHT have to just go back to the guy I don't like so I can pay the "return client" price. *sighs* Maybe I'll call the BJs eye doctor, it CAN'T be worse that that guy.

SO annoyed at the tear. I was worried that my nails were too long. I'm SO cutting them down tonight. Which is a bummer, since they're longish and pretty, but I had to take the polish off last night and have decided not to put any on. I'm entering the land of nail breaky.

Must get ready and leave soon. Face stuff first - I can feel it drying out.

Good news/bad news kinda day

Good - CPA #1 brought me a check, knowing money is tight
Bad - the check is only HALF of what I'd calculated at home. I'd figured on working today (well rather, yesterday) and then some hours on Tuesday (8/31 and therefore billable in August) But I didn't have as many hours as I'd thought prior to this, and I'm now working Thursday instead of Tuesday. Freakin' Yikes.

Good - Looser schedule for next week, probably seeing my Tuesday client on time.
Bad - Messes UP my schedule for next week, thanks to the jerk boss saying "We'll see what I need you to do AFTER Monday" so I'm assuming I don't have any work to do. I WILL have some time Wednesday. I'm thinking I'll see my Medford client on Wednesday, so I don't need to be in on Friday. Or hell, maybe I'll take one of the days off, yes?

Good - got some work done
Bad - leaving phone at home, having ONE personal call on office phone in the FIVE FREAKING minutes the boss needs me all day. Jeebus, I swear that boy has timing.

Now I"m waiting for the newest version of QB to finish updating, then I need to do some printouts and some cash and payroll recs. Hmmm, maybe stay til 6, I think.

I choose poorly and got stuck in Sagamore rotary traffic for a mile and a half, but saw the CUTEST thing while there - a morotcycle, with a dog riding shotgun. The doggie had goggles on, but when we were all stopped in traffic, he pushed em up so he could look around. I NEVER wanted a camera phone until JUST that minute! SO CUTE! Of course the owner decided to piss his way up through the middle of all the cars, which is an illegal and asshole manover, but hey, he had a cute puppy *grins*

Today has been an OK kind of day. Nothing too stressful, and only about 3 instances of wanting to kill someone on the way down *silly grin* AND I have money to pay my bills, buy some paint and storage supplies, AND put some away to start paying off my debts. Good good good. I feel perky so I'm going to use my Miaka icon. Yay Miaka.
