was OK, but my thoughts are disjointed, so I'm just going to use a list format of stuff rolling around in here:
- both my mother and sister are awful parents. My sister has no patience, and tells the kids to "shut the fuck up" as needed. Ten bucks says she tells the month old to "shut the fuck up" when she cries too. When I tell her "Why don't you say that to ME?" since I don't think this is the way to discipline children,(as much as I suck, I've never told my nephew to shut the fuck up. When he's been deliberately annoying, I've told him to shut UP and watch TV but I tend to answer hiim more often than not.) my mother tells me to "mind your own business" and THAN asks me to chauffeur my nephew somewhere. This IS My business now. I usually refuse to babysit, since my nephew has been told he doesn't have to listen to me. He's extended that to he doesn't have to listen to anyone, and I laugh my ass off when he defies them. Hoist - put that petard over there, thanks.
- my niece is a Changeling. She's cute, intelligent, and observant. I'm pretty sure the stuffed animal she was grinning at was telling her stories - I wouldn't be surprised if she can "see" the other planes. She's going to be a sensitive seer. OR, her gene pool is going to kick in and she's going to be stupid slut. I pity her already - poor thing. I just hope she's like ME. I think she looks like my mother (where my nephew looked like my sister) Which ain't all that bad since I look just like my mother so maybe it's ME I'm seeing. Yes, wishful thinking but this kid needs all the help she can get.
- Morning client, BaOPFC (Boring as Old People Fucking Client) has actually managed to become MORE annoying. We were discussing some time off the boss was taking, I offered to adjust my schedule for him (telling him I could use a free day for some client work next week) and he actually managed to make things WORSE. *sighs* Oh well, it's just going to take some juggling and doing. I might not be making it to ManRay every week on Wednesday, but I'll try to make up for it on a Friday. However the icky people come out on a weekend, and there's drama and nonsense and some of my friends DON'T come out. *shrugs* I guess it depends on how much money I have honestly. Plus I'll be trying to make it to Club Hell and Providence, and Ceremony. Haven is going to take some doing, but I think I will plan for an August trip.
- Whoops - Just recalled a potential August first thing. Must research this ASAP. This could be an either or situation, instead of both. Meep.
- Let me sum up my sudden work load:
- CPAs 1&2 - projects when they have them. 1 wants me at least one day next week, which at this rate will be Friday. I need to call 2, and find out what's good, once I've set up a schedule. I also have to tell him it's likely to be after work hours kind of thing, like 4 and after.
- Tuesday clients 1 & 2 - 1 is every other Tuesday, 2 is every Tuesday. This week is a 1 bi week, and 2 needs me ANYTIME during the week to enter payroll and produce reports, as the big boss is on vacation. So it doesn't matter when I go in as long as it's after Wednesday morning. Still, steady work and I get my monthly check whenever I show up.
- BaOLF client. looks like about 15 hours a week, I'm aiming to get him to a MWF schedule. Seriously, this early morning thing KILLS me. My sleep schedule still has me sleeping at 3AM. And thursday morning almost didn't happen. it DOESN'T help when I make serious effort to get in on time, and he says "Oh you're here today??" Feh.

tobi this weekend, should give me some insight. Plus it's a nice opportunity to see just exactly what I can do. They need their "internal processes" refined. Huh. See that's Marketing and HR speak (Am I wrong?) because I'm not quite sure what that means, but it sounds like a lot of Forms and Spreadhseets *lol* Anyway once I get trained, and figure out a schedule for them, I can do some taking home of work. I'm actually thinking of making my meetings with them on Thursday afternoons, then taking myself to Diesel, and working, then Goffeeing.
- Non Profit or the Saints in my schedule I do their work when I can, and I'm doing it tonight, fully. This takes about 6 - 8 hours a month including review meeting and the monthy board meetings I should try and attend once in a while. We're in a groove I think.
- Personal client - family household who just need someone to get the paperwork done. The only problem here is Somerville traffic and parking. I like them, they like me, I get fed and offered soda, AND paid. How cool is that?
And finally the call I got regarding a resume sent to what I thought was a CPA firm. They actually sound like a headhunter type/temp type company. Oh, and they SHOULD be looking for a receptionist, since the one who answered the call today SUCKED. I couldn't understand her and she was speaking English. Do I want this kind of company representing me? However, if things ever slow down again it might be a good thing to have them in my corner, you know. I'll be calling back next week to see if I can't schedule a meeting.
I just need to make it about a week, maybe two. Money starts trickling in next week. I need to immediately send it out different places, but I should be able to afford to do some stuff. Like for me. Maybe an extra drink, or dinner out.
At least I have Monday mostly off. I asked to change a meeting but I'm not holing my breath since I haven't heard from the officer and that probably means she's out of town. So I can't count on the time move.
Speaking of dinner out, I'm jonesing for something noodle or rice oriented. Time to find a cheap noodle house. Stupid NYC having the PEFECT place and spoiling me.
I really should get to work too. It's hot in here tho, I might take everything into the living room and turn on the A/C.
The Unit found someone parked in her space in the middle of the day. I'm actually thinking of making a laminate that you can see as you pull into the space, telling them if I catch them in the space it'll be towed, and maybe they should move. I think we probably have a new tenant who thinks it's OK to tell their guests "park anywhere." we need to start towing. Anyway, they'd better not be in there when I go to park.
hot and hungry. Must find noodles or rice, preferably with some sort of spicy beef.
