Goth Dammit!

First, let me recommend Soulseek, as staralfurinn did to me. I'm finally getting around to playing with it and it's GREAT.

That it's full of LITTLE CHILDREN who are trying to PICK EACH OTHER UP in the chatrooms, talking about their Penii, and especially to the one who JUST "IMed" me on it, using "U" abbreviations, and LOTS AND LOTS of questionmarks, upsidedown ones even, and managed to get PISSY when I actually POLITELY answered him, and asked him to excuse me, as I was in the middle of something.

Sometimes I think "Hey, I should probably be nicer to people and give them a chance." THEN shit like the above happens AND the freaky thing at MR last night. The old (Bret called them Ancient) couple that talked to everyone in the club. BY LEANING INTO THEIR SPACE, waiting to be looked at then SAYING SOMETHING DUMB, and waited to be asked to be fucked. They tried with me TWICE, I ignored them both times, and Bret agreed that I should have. They harrassed El TWICE, she gave them a fake name.

I mean, honestly! I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU! in RL it's apparent from my body language. Online, it's harder, which is WHY I try to be nicer. But HELL if you're just going to use the opener "WHr U Frm?" My reply SHOULD BE "WTF??? Can't your parents afford to send you to school? Or are you retarded? SO retarded that you can't speak!?!" (I realize the irony in abbreviating to WTF - this is a public journal, I'm trying not to be totally crude.)

Argh, argh and Argh again.

Oh well, at least I've found some things I've been looking for. I need to go out to Walgreens for some stuff, I should just let the program work, and come back.

My client cancelled on me for tomorrow (*YAY*) so I get to sleep late and then Chris is coming over to loiter.

I don't like feeling groggy (Can I also say I hate seeing a TV show I've only watched a handful of times and see that the rerun is one I've seems, not only before, but REPEATEDLY before??? Yikes!)

Anyway,
Chris woke me at 9, after I finally get to sleep after 3. I was sitting at this THING, watching dls and thinking "I should be in bed." I haven't done any of the stuff I should have done. Mostly due to lounging in bed Saturday after waking early, lounging in bed yesterday due to needing sleep (seeing a pattern) and lounging in bed today.

See C got laid off, which is a good thing since he's moved. Now he gets PAID to stay home and look for a better job. Today L got laid off too, which has her JUMPING for joy. She was SO not happy that C got laid off and not her. They BOTH want to find new jobs closer to home, and now they both CAN.

Sometimes the crappy things work out.

but, on the other hand, the Unit stayed home today, sick. So even tho C&L went home earlier, I STILL can't get anything done since I can't expand into the living room. She's just told me that she'll probably be home Wednesday too, this time watching my new niece, and let my sister head off to a field trip with my nephew. I SWEAR, I'm NEVER getting anything done. EVER.

*sighs* I have to be off to a client soon. I'm NOT taking my laptop, and when I get home I have work to do. Which NEEDS to be done. Now.
