I almost stayed home.
Feb. 6th, 2004 02:22 amAnd I'm SO glad I didn't.
Bella Morte - awesome as usual. NICE setup, with keyboardist that totally fits in the with the image of the band and a new drummer. Now the Cruxshadows need a live drummer. First full set with the band, and he was great. It adds a depth to the sound. My my, how the lineup has changed from Andy, Gopal and the beat-machine *grins*
I have pictures, they're going to have to wait til tomorrow. Most are crap, as usual, as the camera JUST doesn't cut it anymore for concerts. I knew that when I bought it, but I want a new one now. I'll keep this one for Ebay pictures and whatnot, but I'm going to drop some money on something a bit better. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd prefer a Canon, so I can use as much stuff as I have right now, especially the batteries. Whatever I pick needs to use Flashcard memory (I have 2 128MG cards, I'm using them) have a zoom, have a rechargeable battery source, can last over an hour in constant picture taking, or at least have a replaceable battery so I can just snap away at concerts. Adjustable flash brightness might be nice. While pixels don't bother me, since I don't really have or want the skill to play with stuff, I'd like the get the most for my money. AND I'd like to pay less than $250. Whee! I guess I'll start looking tomorrow.
Oh, and
crypticreign? I'm SO sorry, I didn't even register that was you at the end, I was WAY overstimulated. I almost decked you, thinking you were some stranger *evil grin* THEN I thought you were Constantine and almost did something NAUGHTY! *snicker* I hope you didn't think I was ignoring you - I registered it was you about 5 minutes after I walked away. You should come out to ManRay at some point, sleep is for the weak, and the dead *laughs*
OK, sleep now - my Slurpee is gone and I took a pill for the ringing that turned into a mild headache. Too Close to the Monitors *grins*
