Complete distraction
Jan. 27th, 2004 09:22 amSo I woke up this morning at what normals call "reasonable" - around 7:30. Just got out of bed mind you, but this time yesterday I was out like a light. I should be able to be at clients by 10-10:30.
Get up, check email. Lou's mom emails saying she's sent him a letter, and received an email AND a phone call from him last night and this morning. I heard from Howie last week regarding not talking to him in a while, and he tells me Lou has asked him to be best man, which I had already assumed *grins*
Except that Jen (Lou's mom) also detailed out the rest of his side of the party, and it's to include me, if I'll do it.
*speechless*
I seriously am laid flat.
I have to think about this.
If you're curious to know WHY I have to think about it, drop me a line. I can't go into it now. Suffice it to say it's going to be hard to work today.
I'm off to make tea, and breakfast and shower and then to work. More later.
CORRECTION - Way too thrown to get to work by ten. Let's hope for 10:30. Still need to shower. Need to shut this thing off.
