- My new desk, in a word - sucks.
- The cute network guy - about to blow a gasket, as he had a week off and his inferior (the lower than him on the geek totem pole) or someone wrecked six months worth of work to the network.
- Did I mention the new desk sucks? I've LOST desk room I had before, due to the inept way the desk has been setup, AND - it's backwards. Yes people, there IS a difference between right and left handed desks. I never believed it myself. I'm used to facing the door as I work, and being able to pull something up on my computer without looking. now I have to put everything DOWN, and TURN to the left to use the computer. It's a tiny thing, but it's making me VERY ANGRY.
- I don't MIND the new painting, but a little less puffy sparkle paint might have been in order.
- The vendor I figured out two weeks ago made a mistake, has now made a further one(s) by a) going over myhead to "try and get your problems resolved" b)saying that "going over my head" thing and c) NOT BEING available when I call to tell them how dumb they were. Just you wait, Henry Higgings, Just you wait. Do NOT piss me off this week.
- For an hour, I had the most overwhelming urge to say "Eff this." and go home to clutter I can deal with.
- Instead of leaving everything alone for ME to put back where I wanted it in this ergonomic mess, the big boss ordered my minion to do it. And she did her best. But, now instead of being in one of two drawers, my files are now ALL OVER THE PLACE. Which Uber-sucks.
- The boss was only half kidding when he said "Oh, I guess you can never leave again." when I complained about the amount of changes my little head had to swallow.
*sighs* I'll write about yesterday if I ever get home. AND since I blew off working last night, I get to do it tonight. I MIGHT just do it here, so all I'll have to do it put it up to the net once I get home. *sighs*
