Something to remember

That said, I will ALSO say this - If my wanting to walk in the straightest line possible, instead of wandering around and around and AR$OUND, without EVER listening to directions, I can do that ALONE, without listening to the silence of "Well it's YOUR fault you wore those shoes." I have new shoes that WERE comfy before I started walking ALL over Effing Montreal in them, but have, in that, unnecessary in my opinion, walk torn up my feet so badly I doubt I'm going anywhere tonight.
Let's start with our late start on Thursday, but the whole day was decidedly uneventful. I did NOT take 5 hours, more like 7. I swear, five more minutes at the border, and we would have either been arrested or picked up the KYUTE border guard. *snicker* Ellie is Fabulous to travel with - she brought snacks and water and seltzer, the latters on ice. We stopped just enough to stretch, but not too long or often. Ride pretty much uneventful, except for the traffic nearing Montreal, and my excited "COWS!" every five seconds (Instead of my dejected "ahhh, cow." once in a GREAT ASS while *evil snicker*) These were Canadian cows, mind you.
Right. So the Hotel, it was, um, OK, well it sucked. not ina HUGE ASS suck way, but the pictures DO NOT match the reality. We had the "superior" room, which was two queen size beds, and a decent size bath, with tub, but not much room for else, and that's NOT how's it's advertised on the website. The idea that we could have been stuck with one of 4 rooms that was DIRECTLY in the entrance foyer was horrifying. As it was, we were at the end of the hall, which was Okdokey. I didn't see the other's rooms (Debb & Nikki were on the second floor, Chris & Letty on the third) but according to them, our room was palacial. Oh, and our A/C worked, which apparantly was a problem in the other rooms. Plus, the "parking" is el stupido. Next time, if there is, is a BETTER branded hotel. This hotel had charm, but I don't think charm should be that kind of price range, thanks.
I'm going to finish this in a another, longer with cuts, entry, later. Right now I need a shower, my feet hurt A LOT, I need a shower, and to tend to my feet, and see if I feel like going to Bella Morte and Hell tonight, which I think is a BIG no, I have laundry to do and such. Tomorrow, definately.
I don't like returning to real life, here. On the way home my mind was occupied with all the things I left behind me for the weekend, and it sucks.
