Sheesh

t just took me over an hour, um MAYBE two, I can't even remember when I started, to update my Quickbooks file, and file all the crap all over my desk. And it's not even done to my satisfaction, the receipts need to be analyzed for entries to expenses for cash purchases (but I'm not doing that tonight.) I mean I'm either the best employee in the world for not having time to do this til tonight, or the world's worst bookkeeper, and I'll SMACK anyone who says that! *grins*

I had stuff to say, and now I can't remember. I just know I'm tired and I work too late. Tomorrow I need to get up early *pouts* and beat my boss to work. I just want to be there, coffee in hand (which I will FRIGGIN need by then *gags*) working hard. I need to load the tax program to my laptop, I think I'm going to take it with me.

Oh, and I can see me NOT wanting to go anywhere tomorrow night *sighs* I'm already thinking about going to bed tomorrow night. I hate this, I feel drained already. And tomorrow isn't going to put me in the mood to put up with any antics. But, we'll see how I feel after a long day and a long drive.

Bor-ring. Off to bed with me, after a quick scan of emails to see what needs a'replyin'.

Oh, and I think my Sunday idea for the museum are going right out. I can work, and I'd like more money, please. So I think I'm going to, until 6 or so. Then I'm going in to the movie. Maybe 5 or so, depends on when I get there. So, I'm thinking about going to the Museum on Thursday night. But I want to do all the Egypt things there, the display, the IMAX show, and the Planetarium show. But I want to have plenty of time to see the exhibit. Jeebus, I need a day off during the week. Perhaps if I get to the office early on Thursday, and then leave at say, 3 or 4, I can do everything, and leave myself plenty of time for the exhibit.

Anyone interested in hitting the MOS for the Quest for Immortality Exhibit? Although it looks like optimal time is exhibit entry between 5 and 6, the IMAX is at 7 or 9, and the Planetarium show is at 8. Huh. Exhibit at 6:00, Planetarium at 8, IMAX at 9. Or, Exhibit by 5, IMAX at 7, Planetarium at 8.

OK any takers, let me know, either via comment or porivate email, or I'll have to just make the call the day I go. The earlier times may give me the ability to drop by Goffee, but the later time is more suitable for company and my work schedule. Huh. I can't make decisions like this at 1AM *grins*

So Monday is a holiday. Not for me. But for my Monday client. I have a free morning on Tuesday, they only need a couple of hours, so I move them to Tuesday, all is well.
Of course, that means I have a free day.
What do I do? perhaps play cricket? Perhaps work, so I can have Sunday free? Perhaps go to my Thursday client as to be better prepared and able to leave to go to the Egyptian exhibits?

No. Of course not. That would be easy.

Today, tomorrow, AND Monday - Cape office. Did I mention I paid $1.67/gallon for gas yesterday, and it's 120 miles round trip?
Sunday - Stoughton office, until 5. I WILL be leaving at 5 to go to Somerville, hopefully find someone I like going to the movie, have dinner (I'm giving Marc first shot at dinner) and see Movie, Mr. Cutie-Pants Constantine, AND Mr. Gothy-Pants Voltaire (Hi, if you see my libido, if it ever lands, please let me know, OK? thanks.)

Why, you ask? When I'm obviously overworked and bitching about having no free time? Here are some reasons -

- Buffy Season 3 DVDs
- Angel Season 1 DVDs
- Yu-Yu Hakusho Unedited Box Set DVD
- Fushigi Yugi Seiryu Box set DVD
- TIVO, upgraded hard drive and lifetime Subscription
- A new pair of everyday boots, and a nice honkin' pair of industrial stompy boots
- Paying off my Car insurance
- Paying off some storage unit fees before they raise their rates again
- Paying down some student loans
- Planning for Grad School
- My impending cousin's baby shower
- Being able to help out my friends
- taxes
- Enlarging the possibility of seeing Lou in April by flying to Atlanta/Columbus
and, last but not least
- Evil London Plot 1-1A; the QE2 Cruise, and London Stay, in the beginning planning stages.

So, when I look around and want to do stuff, and I work instead, I just have to look here. I guess.

It still sucks tho. *pouts*

Oh did I mention?

Valentine's Day, even if it existed, and since I ain't Hallmarks Bitch, it DON'T, is called on a count of work. I'm not depressed, I'm not happy, I'm nothing, I'm only working. For the man. (Or, today, for the WOman, and I guess her gift was to not load me with hours and hours of work for after she left.)
