I Is Smart

I is SO smart, I'm choosing to head into town, into a government building AT THE SAME F-ING time as President Shrub (Tell me that doesn't sound like President Scroob? Anyone else rather see Mel Brooks in the White House? *sigh*)

My only salvation is to BEAT feet, and move my butt and get the hell outta Dodge by 11, so that I'm on the T and not in City Hall at the same time I might have to deal with traffic "foo" as it were. I'm just not sure where he's going to be. *sigh*

And I can't get at Yahoo mail, via Outlook. Stupid Yahoo. *kicks*

How did I get home this quick?
Left about 9, parked at Quincy Adams.
Despite best efforts of tourists, caught the train that had just pulled in.
Feel lazy and take trolley to Government Center, where, lo and behold, the building I thought was City Hall, IS actually City Hall *makes a face*.
I know the birth certificates are on the 2nd floor, and lo, there is a sign.
It's DISGUSTINGLY easy to get a damn OFFICAL birth certificate. I don't think they even looked at my license.
Back up two flights, ask for passports, back down one flight, there is ONE guy getting a passport.
I was in the building all of twenty minutes.
I was on the damn TRAIN longer.
Let's see how long it takes them, I got the "Six weeks, approximately" speech, when was I leaving blah blah blah. And they took my brand new birth certificate *pout* I'll get it back, but it makes me nervous that he gave me a copy "just in case" *sigh*

OK soon to the post office, and then to work. fun fun fun.
