I'm going to post about my weekend later
Oct. 1st, 2001 01:55 amBut right now I'm going to tell you something sad.
Because I'm not sure when she'll get back to her own journal.
Tonight I went over to get Kat and her pet rat Emily. Emily wasn't doing too good. Some of you may remember that Emily had a sister, Charlotte, whom Kat lost in early August, to the same kind of cancer Emily has had surgery for. She was listless, had taken a bite at Kat, wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink. We took her to the emergency vet in Weymouth, where she made the decision to free Emily from her pain. It was a very courageous thing to do, the poor thing was in obvious pain, and making little squeaking noises, and even her eyes had no sparkle.
So, I wanted to let the LJ community know, and, since I'm not sure if she wants her email posted publicly, or even if she's up to receiving condolences (she was still a quite upset when I brought her home), I'm offering my own email at tiamatlady@yahoo.com for anyone to send email condolences for Emily and Kat, and I'll forward them along when she's ready, or to her LJ once she posts. Please do me the favor of mentioning Emily or Kat in the subject line. Thanks.
(I don't mean to be autocratic, I just don't give out emails, considering the amount of "spam" I've received lately from obvious sources, I don't want anyone else dealing with that kind of crap. I'll pass on every message I receive, Scout's Honor.)
