A dull weekend
Jul. 22nd, 2001 02:53 pmis a good weekend.
Although Friday wasn't. Went here with Dancer, Bunni, Kazama, and Hampster to see Krista (No LJ) perform. It was much funnier than I anticipated. I so much want to take Laura next week. I think she'll love it. One of the songs was written for the Electric Company and I was seriously injured by giggling to it.
Saturday was spent doing "Me" things, which I very much needed to. Did some Quickbooks stuff for me, things I should finish today, once I can open my door to the air conditioning in the other room. (IE My sister gets the hell out) Then a run to the store Harnois saw the Anubis finger puppet, alas to no avail. I DID get some Sailor Moon tapes, but the voice for SM is different, and is actually MORE annoying than the last one. *pout* Ended up hanging with Skaven and La, and we found out Stop & Shop closes at midnight on Saturdays *giggle* I watched Iron Chef and am now convinced it's boring as hell. (Sorry gang, but I'm just not facinated by this. I did stay to see who won, but that more of a train wreck mentality than anything else)
So today, I want to continue to work on my Quickbooks file, plus the two returns, make that three returns, I need to send out an email on. AND maybe figuring out how I can afford a place of my own. My boss may possibly be moving her office, as her office partner may be mving into his own house. That would work GREAT for me, if she moves to Plymouth. It's not over the bridge, and pretty much takes me a max of 40 minutes instead of a solid hour. I think I need to start working on getting more bookkeeping clients so I can have that place of my own. I just don't want to live with anyone.
Need to put my contacts in. Eyes are staring to hurt. I think today is computer play.
I need more time like this. I have no desire to go anywhere.
I do have phone calls to make. Meep.
