OK let's see
May. 28th, 2001 07:07 pmA relaxed weekend, not long enough, AND a shorter than even holiday weekend work week (whoo hoo)
Friday - work late (pout) run down to Torrid, purple bodice, mesh duster and a Valentina shirt. Run back home, run to Sunset Haus for PBS action. How come everyone but me knows about this chick. *shrug*
Saturday - Stayed in bed almost ALL day *happy sigh* Went shopping for a few things, Walmart for cleaning supplies and contact lens stuff. Picked up Marcus and had Taco Bell. We annoyed the hell out of the worker guy. But he was talking to some kids and mentioned he scrimmages with the Revolution, and the stupid kids wanted him to sign their soccer ball. *sigh* He's not even on the team. I think I was that stupid too.
Sunday - cleaned out the car. I have to say that those new Armor All wipes Rock My World. I finally got both the dashboard and the windows clean without spotting either. Plus vacced the rugs and washed all the windows. I want to put some stickers on the windows, like Valentina and my other little gothy one "We will kick your ass without smearing our eyeliner." Hee. And I Febreezed all the rugs, and cleaned the leather. now I slide around on my seat. *evil grin* One bad thing. I went to my favorite do it yourself car wash. They have vacs tucked around in back, so you don't have to in full view of the street, and lots of shade trees for less direct sun on the paint. As I was washing the car I saw a van pull up to the vacs. *sigh* So I pull up next to them, and start on my windows. Two big black guys. One says "Hi" Ok fine "hi" The other asks me for some of the newspaper I was using on my windows. Fine here, hey even take the remainder of the paper, I'm done. Ok so I'm cleaning the passenger seat, I turn around. The second one starts telling me how smart I was to use rubber gloves (Ever touched wet newspaper for 20 minutes straight? yukky) I said Uh, yeah, did you need something? Nope, just stands there staring at me. OK not I'm starting to get pissed. All I want to do is wash my car WITHOUT being bothered by two stupid males whose next words would be "I want your number/We'll take you out." and guess what I don't even want to talk to them. So I have to pack up, only half finished, and go to another car wash. I was so annoyed I almost bitched them out.I really believe I have the right to do stuff without being hassled. You just can't be friendly, people are stupid. They don't get the "go away " hint so you have to be blunt. THEN you're mean, and they don't' deserve this and what did they do. Probably nothing, but you annoy me, and that's all I have to think. I don't answer to you. I'll feel as I wish, I'll act as I please. This began as me being upset at two stupid guys, and has carried into annoying people in general. I think I'll stay mean, thanks. It's much simpler this way. *grin*
SO I finish the car, it smells all clean *drool*. Then home for a shower, and dressed for Club Hell. Which was OK. Crowded but a lot of Boston people showed up. And Dan played "Ballrooms of Mars" for me *boing* Laura is way to good to Marc. I hope he *looks at Marc whom I KNOW reads this* buys for her next time. She ain't cheap though *LOL*
And today was another run to Torrid to exchange the purple bodice for a smaller one *Whoo hoo - Smaller!* and dress for Ceremony. I want to dress down, but I think I might try to glam out. We'll see.
Off to try on the purple bodice again.
