Wouldn't buying an A/C unit for your bedroom be cheaper than getting a new Ikea sofa? Granted, you could use the sofa all year round. way back, i got a small kenmore A/C window unit from Sears that had a timer, delay, and remote. I too have trouble going to sleep if i'm too hot, but that same temperature will wake me up feeling too cold at 5am. that's why the timer was nice.
