I'm finally jumping on the Last.fm bandwagon (mostly due to not being able to do this during the workday like everyone else. But I'm here now and everyone else has been gone since 5. Fuck em.) and a song I know comes on.

However,

if it were Love the Giver (Covenant Remix) I'd be all over it. In fact, it's quite one of my favorites.

Yes - I think I like the oonz oonz oonz. This version is putting me to sleep.

So, add that to Beborn Beton, Wolfshiem, the Cruxshadows, Apop, Covenant, VNV, and others that I LIKE, and DJs who play EVERYTHING BUT (don't GET me started on Noise, on one of my lists we were told "We'll FORCE the noise down your throat and you'll like it!" and I could only think "Over YOUR DEAD BODY, you child.") it's no wonder I stay in. Don't get me wrong, I've gone out and loved stuff, but there's a lot I DON'T like, and when there's too much of the "me not like" Me keep my money and me stay home to drink beer.

It's what I liked about Treffen. I could listen to what I LIKED and leave when I didn't like. (Or amusedly tolerate my Pet's poor taste in black metal. Of course, he put up with my fangrrrl squeeing over Beborn Beton, so I think we're even.) I even found some new stuff. Like Killing Miranda.

See now Rosetta Stone was just on. We likes that. Hee - now it's Apop. I think Last.fm reads my journal.....

How do you think *I* feel? I loathe noise and don't really care at all for the oontz, so I'm quite often fucked if I want to dance to something I like these days. Even when I get a few songs to dance to, I spend so much time doing other things and not drinking nearly as much as I'd like to, as I drive a long way from any clubs that clubbing is becoming increasingly difficult.

True - I'd kill for just one TradGoth night, that has a decent floor. I like the oonz, but then those nights start getting seriously industrial stompy, and I sleep to that too.

I hate to say this - but as far as trad nights go, the replacement for Sundays down in RI can be really good. It's unfortunately the "problem" people who have finally learned to keep their opinions to themselves, and just play music. But at LEAST the music is Trad. The dance floor is no bigger than a stamp. And I don't think the tender can mix a proper drinkie, but the wine glasses are nice and big, if only I could gander the wine list (We drinks Guiness, at least we know what we gets.)

I really mean it when I say "I only go out to European clubs" which is SO sad.

*sighs* It's too soon, I still have a lot of stuff to deal with, and I don't think they'll pay for me to relocate, not for a position they are going to consider part time people for.

it's perfect though, if a bit under my skill set. if only I could just drop everything and go, I could PROBABLY do DayJobia remotely and take that one on part time.
